What is NetMath®

NetMath is the online self-paced distance learning program of the Department of Mathematics at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. Our mission is to bring academic resources from one of the nation's top public universities to students around the world.

NetMath primarily provides mathematics courses to high school and college students around the world. We also offer educational options for home-schooled students, working professionals, military personnel, and anyone interested in learning math.

NetMath is the online distance learning program of the Department of Mathematics at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. 

Our Students

  • 2018 NetMath Excellence Awards

    Kerry Butson received the 2018 NetMath Award for Outstanding Service. Kerry joined NetMath in October 2016 as an Assistant E-Learning Specialist.

    NetMath has new course offerings! Math 441: Differential Equations All Year section is now Open for Registration. This is an online course featuring video lectures from the University of Illinois on-campus section taught by Lecturer Aldo Manfroi.   • Uhl Scholarship Awards for 2018-19

    The NetMath Jerry Uhl scholarship is awarded annually to high school students qualified to take college-level mathematics courses with NetMath. 2018-19 scholarship winners are: Brody A. (Schaumburg High School), Ria J. (Naperville Central High School), and Patrick Y. (Fremd High School).
