After registration, please be sure to do the following:

  1. Activate your Illinois NetID. Instructions are in the NetMath Activation Code email sent to students after registration.
For students who already have a working Illinois NetID (UIUC matriculating students or returning NetMath students): If you do not remember your information, please contact us at netmath@illinois.edu
Note: After activating your netID there is a period of time before your email account is setup by Tech Services. This time period can range from 4 - 24 hours. If you still have trouble activating your email account after this time period please contact us at: tech-staff@netmath.illinois.edu
  2. To start your course, follow the instructions in your NetMath Welcome email. Students may access their course using the link supplied in the course start instructions as soon as they receive the welcome email.
  3. Obtain an exam proctor: Information on this is available at Proctor Information.
  4. Keep your end date in mind as you progress through the course units and exams.

Important: You must access your @Illinois.edu email account, since billing information is sent to that address only and hard copies are not mailed by the University Cashier's office. Remember to check your @illinois.edu mailbox regularly for course-related communication from NetMath and the University of Illinois.

Your course mentor and TA contact information will be included in your NetMath Welcome Email. As you are working through the course, your mentor and TA will give feedback and guidance on day-to-day coursework.
