Be sure to do the following:

  1. Respond to the letter of intent email from the Office of the Registrar by the deadline given. If you do not respond to the email confirming your intent by the deadline, your registration will be voided and you will need to submit a new registration request in the next registration window.
  2. Activate your Illinois NetID. Instructions are in the NetMath Activation Code email sent to students after registration.
    For students who already have a working Illinois NetID (UIUC matriculating students or returning NetMath students): If you do not remember your information, please contact us at netmath@illinois.edu
    Note: After activating your netID there is a period of time before your email account is setup by Tech Services. This time period can range from 4 - 24 hours. If you still have trouble activating your email account after this time period please contact us at: tech-staff@netmath.illinois.edu
  3. To start your course, follow the instructions in your NetMath Welcome email. Students may access their course using the link supplied in the course start instructions as soon as they receive the welcome email.
  4. Keep your end date in mind as you progress through the course units and exams.
  5. Please see the NetMath IT - FAQ for answers to common technology issues in setting up your course.
  6. Review our Student Services Menu for more information on Academic Accommodations, Withdrawals and Refunds, Exam Proctoring an more. 

 

Your course instructor's contact information will be included in your NetMath Welcome Email. As you are working through the course, your instructor will give feedback and guidance on day-to-day coursework.

 

Important: 

You must access your @Illinois.edu email account, since billing information is sent to that address only and hard copies are not mailed by the University Cashier's office. Remember to check your @illinois.edu mailbox regularly for course-related communication from NetMath and the University of Illinois.

Also note: 

Once Registered in a NetMath course, students will be responsible for payment of tuition charges, regardless of whether any coursework is completed or submitted. This includes any late fees accrued for missed or late tuition payment(s).
