Math 114: Trigonometry

Overview

Studies degrees and radians, the trigonometric functions, identities and equations, inverse functions, oblique triangles and applications.

If you intend to take Math 220, then you should take Math 115 instead of Math 114.

1.5 units of high school algebra; 1 unit of high school geometry.

This course uses the ALEKS assessment and learning system. Students are required to purchase an ALEKS code to access the course online. The code is non-refundable and costs $68.04. Please see our ALEKS page for more information.


Testing

Exams: This course has a 3-hour final exam. Students may take the final on August 4th.

Proctorship Information: This course has online exams. ALEKS students will be using Respondus online proctoring for their final exams. There is a $10 fee for taking exams with Respondus. Please see our Exam Proctoring page https://netmath.illinois.edu/exam-proctoring for further instructions.
