NetMath offers college-level math courses for University of Illinois transcript credit to high school students. High school students may take any of our NetMath courses provided they meet the eligibility requirements. Students may refer to our Course Catalog (hyperlink) to find more information on the NetMath courses offered.

The most popular courses for high school students are:
Math 241: Calculus III 
Math 257: Linear Algebra with Computational Applications 

Tuition
Tuition and fee information for Illinois High School and non-Illinois High School students is outlined below.

  • Illinois High School students:
    • Students enrolling in MATH 241 or MATH 257 are eligible for a discounted tuition rate of $276 per credit hour.  
    • For all other courses, Illinois High School students are assessed the standard undergraduate tuition rate.
  • Non-Illinois High School students:
    • Students are assessed the standard undergraduate tuition rate for all courses.

Note: Beginning Fall 2025, all students will also be charged the Online Services Fee ($3 per credit hour). Please see Registrar Fee Information for more details.
