NetMath 16-week courses allow up to two 1-month course extensions for eligible students. There is a non-refundable $350 fee for each approved extension. The following criteria must be satisfied to qualify for an extension:

  • You are applying for an extension to a 16-week, self-paced NetMath course.
  • You are submitting your extension request before your course end date.
    • It is recommended to submit the form 2 weeks prior to your course end date.
    • Extension requests received after your course end date will be denied.
  • You do not have a financial hold on your student account.
  • Eligibility for Extension 1: completed all coursework up to and including Exam 1.
  • Eligibility for Extension 2: completed all coursework up to and including Exam 2.

Extension request approvals are not guaranteed. A review of your completed coursework in consultation with your instructor will determine whether or not your request is approved.

To apply for an extension, follow the instructions on the extensions tab on your Nexus dashboard.

You should continue working on your NetMath course while your extension request is pending. You will not lose access to your course if your extension request is pending even if your course end date has passed.

NetMath 8-week Summer Session courses and students in the Partner High School Program are not eligible for extensions.
