This year's award recognizes Stefanie for her exceptional service as NetMath's Math 241 instructor and her many contributions to the continued success of the NetMath program. In addition to her outstanding teaching, she has consistently stepped into roles beyond her instructional responsibilities, demonstrating a deep commitment to students, colleagues, and the program.
One colleague who supported her nomination wrote, "Stefanie consistently demonstrates excellence in her overall work performance, going above and beyond the expectations of her role. She fosters a positive and supportive environment, contributing to strong morale through her collegial attitude and willingness to assist colleagues and students alike. ... Through her professionalism, innovation, and collaborative spirit, Stefanie meaningfully enhances the reputation and effectiveness of NetMath, the Mathematics Department, and the university as a whole."
