Biography
Dave Watson – is a E-Learning and Information Technology Specialist, for NetMath. Dave enjoys working with students from all backgrounds, while helping them with their technical issues as they reach for their academic goals. He also helps NetMath staff with their technical needs and appreciates helping facilitate progress for the future needs of the department. Dave has vast experience in customer service using his extensive knowledge of computers and computer systems. He is proficient in multiple computer skill areas, including, software and hardware, along with several years of end user support experience and web design. Over his career he has gained business experiences, including higher education, special education, sales, automotive, and manufacturing. At home Dave and his significant other, Kathy, enjoy creating various craft projects together, that are extensions of his other hobbies. Kathy and Dave both enjoy relaxing with their four cats who can be very mischievous at times. During his free time, you may find him changing out hummingbird or other bird feeders or taking their pictures.

Awards and Honors
Since joining NetMath in 2016 in the role of E-Learning IT Specialist, Dave has become an integral and valued member of the our team. Initially, Dave was tasked with maintaining and supporting IT equipment, assisting staff and online students with access to NetMath IT systems, and troubleshooting when staff or students encountered problems with our IT infrastructure. Dave's duties have grown in scope and responsibility over the years, and these days his contributions are felt across NetMath’s administrative, instructional, and IT units on a daily basis.
A colleague writing in support of this nomination said, “Dave has been consistently willing to take on new responsibilities. He is always quick to respond to a request for help, generous with his time, patient and friendly in his demeanor, and thorough in his approach to troubleshooting problems. He is often the first person in NetMath many of our online students contact for help, and he is diligent about following up to ensure every problem is satisfactorily resolved.”
