NetMath courses require at least as much time commitment as traditional university courses. Completing course assignments and communicating with your NetMath mentor can take five to fifteen hours or more per week, depending on the course. Some students find that they need to be working online almost every day. In addition to working on homework assignments and coursework, it will be your daily responsibility to keep up with communication from your NetMath mentor and administrative support staff. Before enrolling in a course, make sure you can set aside enough time to keep up with your assignments. We encourage our students to create a course timeline at the beginning of their course so their NetMath mentor can help them stick to this schedule. Students should also be prepared to start working as soon as they enroll in their course.
NetMath courses cannot be “paused” after enrollment. If you are planning to take a vacation or a long break during your course, be aware of the course deadlines. Keep in mind that you can sign up for a NetMath course at anytime, so you may want to consider a time that better fits into your schedule.
